730 North Milwaukee Avenue
As a design-build project, GT engineered, furnished, and installed a complete system of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning in this 26-story, mid-rise building. As a multipurpose commercial building, this project required engineering considerations and many different types of equipment for installation to best fit the owner’s unique needs. Equipment ranged from a 2-cell galvanized steel cooling tower to a packaged air-cooled, gas-fired, VAV make-up air unit to 240 vertical stacked water source heat pumps and more. As proponents of the design-build process, we were able to confidently provide the most optimally functioning system for our customer within their budget.
